Safety Regulations and Guidelines for Spiral Duct Machines
When using the spiral duct machine, carefully read and follow the instructions and warnings in this manual to avoid damage or personal injury.
1. Do not operate this equipment before carefully reading all instructions and warnings in this manual and receiving comprehensive training.
2. Do not operate this equipment without wearing sturdy, non-slip gloves. Otherwise, the sharp edges of the metal sheets and the unfinished ends of the finished pipes may severely cut your fingers and hands.
3. Do not operate this equipment without wearing appropriate eye protection. During pipe forming and cutting, metal pieces or other objects may splash into your eyes. It is recommended that you wear non-slip and well-ventilated safety goggles or a face shield to reduce the risk of eye injury.
4. Do not use the cutting machine near flammable materials or in environments filled with combustible gases or similar conditions, and do not wear work clothes made of flammable materials
to operate the cutting machine. Otherwise, the high-temperature sparks generated by the cutting machine during cutting may cause a fire and injure your body. If your clothes are stained with gasoline or other gaseous substances, immediately turn off the machine and change into clean clothes.
5. When the spiral duct machine is operating, do not touch rotating or moving parts, otherwise you may be seriously injured. Similarly, do not operate the machine before the protective cover is in place.
6. Do not perform any maintenance work before turning off the main switch.
7. The spiral duct machine must not be operated unattended.
8. The function status of the safety switch and emergency shut-off switch must be frequently checked and tested to ensure that the switches are sensitive and reliable.
9. Do not open the cover of the electrical control cabinet when the main switch is not turned off. Electric shock may cause serious injury or even death. Do not remove any protective or safety devices. When using the cutting machine, be sure to adjust the protective facilities according to the pipe diameter.
10. Do not operate this machine when tired or under the influence of any external factors (including after taking medicine or drinking alcohol), as these factors may impair your vision, hearing, or judgment.
11. When operating the spiral duct machine, be sure to wear special work clothes. The uniform must be made of thick, non-flammable material, and must be close-fitting and ensure that your movements are not restricted.
12. Do not wear loose clothing and jewelry, as they may be caught by the machine. Wearing thick, non-flammable gloves and safety shoes, face shields or safety goggles, and hearing protection is absolutely necessary to ensure your safety. You should also wear a safety helmet that has passed inspection.
