How to determine if a CNC plate rolling machine is working normally?

 

We have found that many customers start using CNC plate rolling machines quickly, but once a problem arises, they are at a loss and don't know what to do. If we can understand or even master some common sense about the normal operation of the rolling machine, we can easily help solve this problem. How to determine if a CNC plate rolling machine is operating normally?

 

First, turn on the CNC plate rolling machine and listen. When the rolling machine is idling, the noise pressure level must not exceed 90dB. When the gear transmission, electrical, and hydraulic components are working, there should be no irregular impact sounds or periodic squealing sounds.

 

Test run the mechanical transmission system; it should be normal, smooth, and without abnormal noise, and the braking should be sensitive and reliable. Re-check the hydraulic components and pipelines for leaks. During the operation of the rolling mill, when the rolling mill hydraulic system is working, the oil temperature in the oil tank should generally not exceed 50 degrees. After 4 hours of continuous full-load operation, the oil temperature in the oil tank should not exceed 60 degrees. Within the working range of the hydraulic transmission components, there should be no vibration crawling, stagnation, or major impact.

Each operation of the CNC plate rolling machine should follow the following operating procedures:

 

I. Pre-start preparation

 

1. Check for any abnormalities in all parts and ensure that the limit screws are not loose.

 

2. The roller distance should be adjusted strictly according to the sheet metal thickness, and overloading operation is prohibited. Do not roll, press, or fry workpieces outside the specified mechanical performance range.

 

II. Precautions during operation

 

1. Operation can only begin after the workpiece is placed steadily and correctly. The signals must be clear, and one person should be designated to direct.

 

2. Do not place your hands on the rolling steel plate of the workpiece, and do not use a template for inspection. Check the roundness using a template after stopping the machine.

 

3. When rolling workpieces that are not round enough, they should be rolled to the end of the steel plate, leaving a certain margin to prevent the workpiece from falling and injuring people.

 

4. During operation, no one should stand on the workpiece, nor should the roundness be checked on the cylinder after rolling.

 

5. When rolling large-diameter thick cylinders or workpieces with high material strength, a small number of active rollers should be lowered for multiple rolling passes.
