Fire Damper

It is generally used in ordinary air supply and fire supplementary air supply pipeline systems. It can be controlled to close rooms that do not require supplementary air during a fire.
2. Normally open fire damper equipment, 280-degree fuse shutdown, normally open, output communication signal. This is similar to 1, except for the different fuse temperature. It is generally used where smoke exhaust pipes pass through firewalls. When the smoke exhaust temperature exceeds 280 degrees, it can automatically fuse and shut down, and the smoke exhaust fan will shut down accordingly.
Smoke Exhaust Damper
1. Normally closed smoke exhaust fire damper (normally closed, communication signal open, 280-degree fuse closure or manual closure) is generally used in smoke exhaust systems. A smoke exhaust fan intake can be set. During a fire, there is no control room opening control. When closing, it can also interlock and close the smoke exhaust fan.
2. The unit name of the smoke exhaust damper is different from that of item 3 above. Depending on its operating temperature, it is sometimes called a smoke exhaust damper, and sometimes a fire damper depending on its purpose. However, from the equipment side, it only replaces the fuse metal of a normal fire damper with a 280-degree fuse.
3. Fully automatic smoke exhaust fire damper (for subway projects) The fire and smoke exhaust damper in the ventilation and air conditioning system of underground railways has the function of interlocking control with fire automatic alarm equipment and gas fire extinguishing system.

Installation of Fire Damper Equipment:
Fire damper equipment is installed in the central air conditioning duct system. The working principle is temperature control of fusible alloy, using gravity and spring mechanism to close the valve. In case of fire, the flame invades the air duct, melting the alloy that is easy to melt at high temperatures, or causing the shape memory alloy to deform and automatically close the valve, which is used to penetrate the air duct and fire-resistant areas.
Selection Points of Fire Damper Equipment:
1. The main control parameters for the selection of fire damper equipment are specifications, etc.
2. Fire damper equipment is suitable for ventilation and air conditioning systems. Except for fire dampers used in public building kitchen smoke exhaust systems, the operating temperature is 150. The operating temperature of fire dampers used in general ventilation and air conditioning systems is 70.
3. Suitable for ventilation, air conditioning or smoke exhaust system pipelines.
4. When selecting valves, pay attention to the functions of the valves, such as normal opening, normal closing, automatic closing, manual closing, manual reset, signal output, remote control, etc.
5. When the valve is interlocked with the fan, use a double micro-switch device.
6. The valve body blades are made of steel plate with a thickness of 2-6 mm. The valve body is made of non-combustible material. The rotating parts are made of corrosion-resistant metal materials, and the rotation is flexible. The shell thickness of the valve should be controlled below 2 mm. The fusible parts must meet the approval standards of the fire department.
